The Policy Officer Recruitment Programme (PORP) is a prestigious three year development program that attracts and trains Canada's next generation of policy leaders. Participants rotate through diverse policy areas, receive mentorship, and gain first hand experience contributing to decisions that shape Canada's defence and international engagement.

Who should attend:
This session is ideal for graduate students and recent alumni who want to make an impact through public policy, defence strategy, or international affairs.
Students from the following areas are especially encouraged to attend:

Faculty of Arts Political Studies Economics History Sociology and Criminology Psychology Philosophy

Faculty of Graduate Studies Master of Public Administration  Master of Arts in Political Studies or Economics

Faculty of Law (Robson Hall) Students with an interest in legal frameworks, national security law, or international law

Eligibility: Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents to apply for the Policy Officer Recruitment Programme.
