LinkedIn is much more than just a social media site. It can be integral in supporting your job search, occupational research, and networking.

Please come to the online workshop with a basic profile already created. You will be invited to enhance your profile and navigate the site during the workshop.

In this online interactive workshop you will:

•     Learn about the components of a strong personal profile
•     Enhance and optimize your profile so you are easily searched
•     Identify strategies to research career pathways, industries and employers using LinkedIn
•     Find relevant professional connections and learn how to effectively engage

We encourage all to attend and participate as fully as possible given access to technology.

Please note:  Career Services workshops are interactive, with opportunity to engage in discussion and develop career management skills. Registrants are expected to attend the full session. Students who arrive more than 10 minutes late may not be permitted to join. Please connect with our front desk if you require any accommodations to support your participation.

NOTE: This workshop will be held through video conferencing. All registered students will be contacted by the facilitator via email with video conferencing instructions. This event will not be recorded. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration and register for the next available workshop.
