UM Behind the Hire is a monthly lunchtime info session series designed to help students explore career pathways, meet employers actively hiring, and gain insight into workplace culture and expectations. Each session includes a presentation followed by Q&A and discussion.

Érik Klassen is a Service Manitoba Community Advisor at the Bilingual Service Centre within the Manitoba Government. Fluent in French and English, he specializes in community engagement and labour law education for young and vulnerable workers. His commitment to accessibility and excellence makes him a valuable resource in Manitoba's bilingual services.
