In this workshop, participants will engage with concepts proposed in leadership theories centered around different contexts that leadership can occur in. Content will include the presentation of ideas and practices common across interpersonal leadership theories, discussion around strengths and weaknesses of these various theories, and reflection on how this style can be integrated into a person's leadership style.
This is one of three options that can be taken to meet the theory workshop requirement for the
SLDP. Please ensure that you have completed 'Looking at Leadership: An Introduction to Leadership as a Concept' prior to registering for this session.
*This workshop will include some overview of content but will also rely on interactive activities and group sharing to promote learning. Please let us know ahead of time if you require an accommodation or if there is something that would help you participate in the workshop more fully. Workshop may be subject to cancellation if registration numbers are low.
