Our 8
th edition of Career Connections is happening on Thursday May 9
th from 12:00pm - 3:00 pm (virtual).
Recently graduated or near graduating (within 6 months) tech students are welcome to connect on our Remo virtual conferencing platform with industry and potentially gain employment in the tech industry right here in Manitoba. In addition to a hiring event for entry level tech positions, Career Connections is also a great event for students/grads to sharpen
their networking skills, look ahead to securing any coops they still need to fill, and find out what employers are looking for in a new hire.
The companies attending are looking to build their pipeline of entry level tech talent.
Entry level tech positions that the participating companies typically hire for include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Junior Developer/Software Developer
- IT Support Analyst
- IT Support Technician
- Application Support Specialist
- IT application trainer
- Application Developer
- Business Development
- Data Systems Analyst
- Platform Support (server/DB support)
- Customer Experience Specialists
- Sales Representative
- Project Managers
- Business Analysts
- Quality Assurance Analyst

- Please find attached PDF about Career Connections that you can print/forward/share with your recently graduated or near graduating (within 6 months) tech focused students.

- Registration portal for grads/upcoming grads is now open, with registration closing April 30th or when full (limited spaces)
- Once students register, I will communicate with the students directly about how the event will unfold, REMO link to the event, and more information about the participating companies.
